About Us

Saga is a newly-launched platform for bookish bandits to plunder as well as an independent hybrid publisher. Saga comprises of three verticals; a mobile fiction app, ebook and print publications & publishing solutions. Established in 2020, we are a women-owned and women-run organisation, working to bring stories and hidden gems into the spotlight for readers to enjoy. We are one of the very few publishers in India to mentor you through your editing, publishing and marketing process.

Since inception we have worked with a diverse and global selection of authors, including C.L Peache, Daniel Pavia Livori, Ankita Kulkarni, Hope Bolinger, and Varun Gwalani. We’ve published over a hundred titles worldwide, over a range of platforms and in various mediums, making us the ultimate destination for well-written entertainment.
Our mission is simple: to bring together a global community of readers and provide a platform for both established and emerging authors to share their stories with the world.
Saga was founded by Aakriti Patni and Pranika Sharma, avid readers and best friends who have always dreamed of creating a space for readers to discover and relish new stories.
“Books are my first love, and I know I share that sentiment with millions out there. With Saga, I hope to bring the global reading community together”, says Aakriti.
Pranika adds “Having worked in publishing and as a writer myself, I know the struggle of publishing and marketing your book. We hope that we can bridge that gap and make publishing easy for budding authors.”

What publishing solutions do we offer?

Saga Fiction

Our was released in August 2021 and now has more than a hundred titles. From feel-good serialized fiction and cosy novels to spine-tingling mystery and intrigue, our reading rack has something for every reader!

Saga Publications

We expanded to publishing select titles as ebooks on various platforms in April 2022. To date, we have published over 10 titles on platforms such as Kindle, Kobo and Google Play Books. In December 2022, we published our first book in print – and we’ve got a lot more coming soon!

Meet Aakriti Patni – a media maven with a Masters in Magazine Journalism from City University, London under her belt.
Aakriti has worked in the capacity of a reporter with major publications like Afternoon D.C & Vogue India. She assisted in her family office, RAAY Global Investments, where she managed entertainment and media related investments, before establishing her own publishing house, Saga. Aakriti brings a wealth of editorial knowledge and digital marketing expertise to Saga. When she’s not busy crafting compelling content, you can find her curled up on the sofa with her favourite novel in hand.

Pranika Sharma is a literary powerhouse with a Masters in Creative Writing from Loughborough University, U.K.
But she didn’t stop there – she went on to work with some of the biggest publishing companies in the world, including Penguin Random House and Harper Collins Publishers. She also had the opportunity to work with Indian filmmaker and director, Rahul Rawail, on his memoir, Raj Kapoor: The Master at Work. With her experience in the publishing industry, Pranika brings her editorial prowess to Saga. Keep an eye out for her work – it’s sure to be a literary treat!
